A dozen bleary-eyed 8th Holborn Scouts gathered at 6am at Marylebone Station to head to Princes Risborough where we joined more than 450 Scouts for the Chiltern 20 Challenge.

This navigation competition organised by Greater London North Scouts is celebrating its 40th anniversary and every participant received a purple Chiltern 20 mug to celebrate.

This year we had three teams in the competition – two in the senior 20km event and one in the junior 12km event.

All our teams did really well, achieving 14th and 21st place in the senior competition and 24th in the junior event.
