| On the first Saturday of November the streets of the Square Mile are filled with sound and colour for the Lord Mayor’s Show procession, a spectacle that has taken place annually for more than 800 years. For the past two years 8th Holborn has been involved in selling commemorative programmes to spectators along the route, with £1 of the £5 cover price retained by the group. It’s fun day out with a close-up view of the procession, and a good opportunity to raise the profile of Scouting with the public whilst raising some funds at the same time. |
