For our final Cub and Scout meetings of term we went to see Principal Theatre Company’s production of ‘A Comedy of Errors’ in Coram’s Fields. Thank you to Paul and the company for accommodating us.

On 7 July we said ‘Au Revoir’ to Akela with a big party for 8th Holborn members past and present at the Knights Templar in Chancery Lane. You can read about the event in the Camden New Journal here and here. Big thanks to Jan and Gerry for hosting.

We were fortunate to be able to send three Scouts to the annual parliamentary tea party for Scouts in the apartments of the Speaker of the House of Commons, John Bercow.

Our Beavers, Cubs and Scouts had a busy weekend at PACCAR Chalfont Heights for the Camden, City & Islington District Camp with 500 Scouts from across the three boroughs. This year’s cycle camp was a two-day expedition from London to Longridge (Marlow) along the Thames Valley cycle route. Thanks to 1st Laleham for letting us camp at their HQ. It was especially good to meet up with our former Scout Leader Graham Singh at his home in Teddington.
